Depending on where you live and what you believe in, there are a lot of seasonal celebrations coming up over the next couple of months.

So, this is me saying 'whatever you're celebrating, have a good one!'

Personally I can't wait for all of it to be over, because in January we plan to welcome a new life into our home and our hearts. Yes, we're adopting another kitten!

Nothing is arranged as yet, but we are planning to adopt a kitten that is approximately 5-6 months old, short-haired, female, and in foster care through a local no-kill organisation. It is very important that we adopt a kitten that is friendly and likes other cats, since she will be a little sister and companion to our existing cat, Rolo

As many of you will already be aware, sassawj has been trying to raise funds to pay off the veterinary bill incurred by her family's loving efforts to provide care and shelter to abandoned animals, and to make a donation to the Erie Shores Humane Society.

She is now trying to cover the costs of fostering rescued kittens so that they can have a chance to be adopted.
